BIZ Karts is a UK SME specialising in the manufacture of go karts for the leisure/corporate karting market as well as support and distributiion of spare parts and karting equipment across the world.

Job description

We are looking to add a new member of staff to our team of 3 in our Spare Parts Sales Department selling go-kart spare parts & race circuit venue equipment. e.g. Honda engines, tyres, PPE. The role involves mainly dealing with regular trade accounts, maintaining these relationships and understanding individual account requirements. Part of the role includes liaising with suppliers, arranging transport and processing of incoming orders from start-to-finish.

As well as servicing our existing customers, the role also involves reaching out to potential customers to gain new business across the world.

The candidate should have good IT skills and be comfortable in learning new software we use to populate our online spare parts store and keep it up-to-date. As a process of driving new business, we also have new features coming to the online store which need customising per customer, and this needs to be maintained. The role will also include organising, updating and maintaining parts books for our products to allow the ease of spare parts ordering.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping to process enquiries/orders into the Spares mailbox.
  • Raising orders on Sage200 for customers.
  • Raising quotes and proformas for customers including chasing older quotes.
  • Ordering spare parts with suppliers.
  • Keeping stock levels under review.
  • Monitoring costs with key suppliers.
  • Dealing with all enquiries from customers.
  • Liaising with the factory for repaired parts and orders.
  • Arranging for the recovery of damaged or unwanted parts.
  • Worth to monthly targets.
  • Minimise order processing mistakes.
  • Help maintain products listed on online store.

Development:

To provide our customers with the high level of service we currently offer when purchasing spare parts.

To work closely with the Service and Customer Service Teams.

To build relationships with our suppliers and service providers and also with all departments within the business.
