BIZ impresses at the IKA Kartmesse 2018

Preparations for the IKA Kartmesse International Kart Exhibition had been in the works for the last 6 months, as our team worked to design the perfect stand that would showcase our products and exciting new developments.

The team arrived to set up on Friday, ready for the 9am opening of the 10,000 square metre exhibition halls on Saturday 27th January. On the stand, we featured our EcoVolt NG, the star of the show, and technological triumph that’s been making waves in the karting industry over the past year. Always a hit, the stand allowed for customers to jump in the kart seat and get a proper feel for it. Also present was our Lead Engineer, Chris Day, who bought with him several brand-new developments that featured on our ‘Innovation Lab’ – arguably the second star of the show! The Innovation Lab truly brought in the crowds, with the innovative dash display, all new Smart Lights and battery innovations on show. We’ll feature more information about these developments in future blog posts, so keep your eyes peeled.

Our Kart Spares Team also attended the event to showcase some of the well-known brands we stock including our brand-new rental helmet, made exclusively for us by NITRO, along with our very own range of seat inserts, steering wheels, trophies and medals.

We’re excited to see how successful the global karting industry continues to be.
