The BIZ team unveil the EcoVolt GT at the IKA-Kart 2000

The annual karting show, IKA-Kart 2000, took place on the weekend of the 25th and 26th January. From the BIZ Karts Team, we had Chris Smith, James Heap, Chris Day, Adam Scott and Max Bladon on the stand welcoming customers, new and old.

The highlight and most-talked-about element of the weekend was the global launch of the EcoVolt GT, our new electric, rental kart that’s set to cause shock waves across the industry. Offering the latest in battery technology, smart technology and innovative design, the EcoVolt GT is now the leading electric kart in its field. With a battery capacity increase of 74% and battery weight reduction of 23% compared to its predecessor, run times of 1 hour are easily achieved. Remote battery monitoring and remote diagnostic capabilities ensures that your your kart fleet are as smooth-running as possible for your business. Bespoke F1 style steering wheel and and all-new bodywork make this kart the best looking kart we’ve ever made!

We also showed off one of the most exciting optional features of the kart: the engine sound generator. As well as replicating a V8 engine, it has the capability of giving the drivers on-board instructions and race information for example if there are flags out on the circuit, when the race has ended plus much more.
