Job Title: Management Accountant

Contract Length: Permanent

Start Date: March/April 2021

Location: BIZ Group Head Office, Enfield, London, EN3 7QA

Working Hours: Between 32-40 hour working week, flexibility possible.

Salary: Dependent on working hours agreed

About BIZ Group Holdings

BIZ Group Holdings is made up of two principal companies: BIZ Engineering, a sheet metal fabrication company which was set up back in 1816, and BIZ Karts, one of the largest manufacturers of rental, race and off-road go-karts in the world. Both companies are based in our Head Office factory and office in Enfield, North London. We currently employ over 50 members of staff across the Group. The combined Group turnover is approx. £10m.

Duties and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to head up our small but busy Accounts Department, made up of three employees, that look after both BIZ Engineering’s and BIZ Karts’ Accounts. The key responsibilities are listed below, although this list is not exhaustive.

Payroll: Liaising with our external payroll providers throughout all stages of monthly payroll. Plus, analysing wage reports and processing wage journals, preparing wage declarations for insurance providers and managing pension contributions.

Purchase Ledger: The processing of all invoices and supplier payments.

Sales Ledger: Overseeing the general running of the sales ledger.

Preparation of Management Accounts.

VAT: Overseeing the quarterly VAT returns.

Annual Audit: Dealing with all queries relating to the annual audit for all companies within Group.

General: Dealing with and resolving any queries or problems that arise in a busy accounts office.

Desirable Experience and Skills

Previous experience in an Accounts Department is imperative. Good understanding of Sage Accountancy System. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Confident in managing a small team of 3. Highly organised and methodical Confident in liaising with Company Directors.
